
Adesuwa Okunbo Rhodes is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aruwa Capital Management, a women-owned growth equity and gender lens fund managing $80 million in assets across two funds. She brings over 15 years of investment banking and private equity experience across developed and emerging markets, including at J.P. Morgan. Prior to founding Aruwa, she served as Partner and Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa at Syntaxis Capital.
She has won the 2X Global Woman Fund Manager of the Year award and has been recognised as one of Institut Choiseul's 100 Laureates under 40 shaping Africa's future. She serves on several boards across healthcare, consumer, and financial services in Nigeria. She is the first female solo GP in Africa to raise over $50m in a fund. She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol.
