Bente Sverdrup is Head of Sustainability in Gjensidige group with a formal background as a State Authorised Public Accountant. She is engaged in understanding consequences of sustainability risks such as climate and nature risk in general and specifically the consequences for the insurance industry. She is also engaged in understanding the social challenges both to customers and employees. She oversees the special engagement Gjensidige has within a proactive initiative to build the robustness of young people. She has overseen the ESG-reporting in Gjensidige since 2018. She has 25 years of experience practicing as an external auditor in KPMG, PWC and Deloitte, and was partner in Deloitte for 5 years.
