Bethanie Castelnuovo
Director & CFO - SCB Environmental Markets
Bethanie Castelnuovo is Director and Chief Financial Officer at SCB Environmental Markets, a global firm providing market-based solutions such as carbon credits, energy attribution and biogas certificates, and sustainable aviation fuel certified emission reductions to help organizations meet their sustainability goals. She also leads SCB’s sustainability advisory practice, guiding companies in quantifying emissions, setting decarbonization targets, and developing sustainability strategies and reporting.
Before joining SCB, Bethanie spent 12 years with Big Four accounting firms in the United States and Switzerland. She holds a BSc in Accountancy from the University of Massachusetts, an Executive MBA from École des Ponts ParisTech in partnership with KPMG, and an MSc in International Taxation from the University of Oxford. She is currently completing a Doctorate at SDA Bocconi, focusing on corporate sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
