Nordic Climate Finance Summit

I have worked for both public and private organizations precisely in the development and climate nexus through three tangible ways: (i) mobilizing private & public capital at the World Bank, IFC, Macquarie Africa and at IFU (Danish DFI), (ii) blending public capital for maximum climate outcomes at Global Climate Fund (GCF) and at IFU, and (iii) deploying blended capital in actual investments in companies, assets and funds: World Bank, Macquarie Africa, Vestas and IFU, (iv) thought leadership through my work in the working group of the OECD defining blended finance, and providing guidelines for structuring of blended finance for investors.

• Comprehensive understanding of the investment landscape, particularly in emerging markets
• Technical expertise across various financial instruments and project stages
• Sectoral knowledge spanning renewable energy, water management, and integrated infrastructure
• Ability to structure complex deals that balance multiple objectives
• Experience working with both pension funds and public capital to achieve blended outcomes

What drives me is tackling systemic bottlenecks and unlocking the potential of markets and innovation to address global challenges.
