Kim Noguera Gabrielli is the CEO of Worldview International Foundation. The Foundation is a global leader in restoring and conserving mangroves together with coastal communities. Over the past 13 years Worldview International Foundation has protected and planted more than 120 million mangroves trees. These trees will store more than 25 million tons of CO2 over a time period of 25 years. These large-scale mangrove efforts are made possible through financing from blue carbon projects channel climate finance into nature-based solutions.
Kim is driven by a strong commitment to fighting climate change, preserving nature, and supporting the communities most affected by environmental degradation. Mangroves contribute to all three at the same time.
He brings with him more than 15 years of international experience. He has formerly held leadership positions within the UN system like CEO of UN Global Compact Norway and Deputy CEO of UNICEF Norway.
