Spearheading Worldview International Foundation, one of the world's leading organizations for planting and protecting (restoration & conservation of) mangroves, is a great responsibility and an exciting leadership task. Together with talented colleagues, authorities, local communities and business leaders, we are working to reach our mission: To protect and plant 1 billion mangroves the next ten years.

My driving force is to fight climate change, preserve nature and protect local communities from storms and floods. Planting mangroves contributes to all three things at the same time and is crucial for achieving the global climate goals. Nature-based solutions, blue carbon projects and mangrove restoration and conservation are key words to me.

I am bringing with me over 15 years of comprehensive professional experience in international and political affairs working within the United Nations - family (UNICEF and UN Global Compact), in leading global movements (Olympic Movement, Red Cross and Amnesty) and holding long experience from the Norwegian Labour Movement.

I am renowned for my excellence in team and partnership building, I am a results-oriented and strategic leader. My track record of strategic and growth leadership is documented in the successful establishment of UN Global Compact Norway from its inception as the CEO, and as the deputy/ acting CEO of UNICEF Norway. As a leader, I prioritize talent development and empower individuals to realize their full potential through inclusion, trust and guidance.

Though a Norwegian citizen, my identity transcends borders, reflecting a global mindset. Proficient in English, Spanish, German, and Norwegian, I have lived and worked in Norway, Germany, Ireland, Spain, New York, and Brussels. Italian heritage, happily married to a Colombian. I currently work out of Bangkok.
