She has spent a decade working on climate policy and carbonmarkets, shifting between market research, educating carbon credit buyers, and treading through the realities of early-stage project development.
Prior to launching Carbon Capital Lab, she directed the carbon program at Trellis Group (formerly GreenBiz). There, she wrote a regular column breaking down carbon market policy and news for corporate sustainability teams, and diving into lessons learned from offtake agreements.
She also led workshops for carbon buyers, investors, and project developers about offtake agreements and project finance. Today, she continues to facilitate Trellis Network’s carbon markets and decarbonization community for corporate sustainability teams.
Before joining Trellis, she led marketing and communications at Terraformation, a nature-based carbon removal project developer. She spent her early career at Sightline Institute, a climate think tank, where she wrote policy analysis for decision makers and launched the institute’s Farms and Forests research program.
She launched Carbon Capital Lab to provide insights into carbon credit demand and help close the project finance gap.
