Nordic Climate Finance Summit

Marta Diez  leads CFP Energy’s commercial strategy and market presence in Spain and Portugal, driving business development and client engagement across energy and carbon markets. Her work centres on expanding the company’s portfolio, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions to industrial and corporate clients navigating decarbonization, CBAM, and EU ETS compliance.

With a dual focus on strategic growth and risk management solutions, she works closely with international teams to align local market needs with global capabilities. She serves as a Board Member and Sustainability Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain, where she spearheads the Chamber’s climate action and ESG agenda. Her initiatives support members in adapting to regulatory shifts such as CBAM, CSRD, and the EU Green Deal, while fostering cross-sector collaboration and positioning the Chamber as a hub for sustainable innovation.

Previously, she held the role of Environmental Market Consultant for Iberia and Italy , where she advised companies on carbon risk exposure, EU ETS compliance, and voluntary carbon markets. She played a key role in establishing the Chamber’s Sustainability Committee and maintains strong relationships with the British Embassy and European climate associations.
