Mayor Anne Lindboe was born in Sarpsborg in 1971 and grew up in Re municipality in Vestfold. She has three children and lives in the borough of Nordre Aker.
Mayor Lindboe is a physician who graduated from the University of Oslo, specializing in pediatrics. She also holds a foundational degree in French from the same university, as well as an MBA in economic management and leadership from the Norwegian School of Economics.
She has served as a senior physician at the Norwegian Children's House in Oslo and as a researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
In 2012, Lindboe was appointed as the Children's Ombudsman by the King in a Council of State. She was also the director of the Association of Private Kindergartens from 2018 to 2022.
On September 26, 2022, Lindboe was unanimously elected as the mayoral candidate by the Oslo Conservative Party's representative body.
