Satu Santala
Managing Director, Nordic Development Fund
Ms Satu Santala is the Managing Director of Nordic Development Fund (NDF). Prior to joining NDF, she was the Associate Vice-President of the External Relations and Governance Department of IFAD. She has extensive experience in international relations and development, and has held various positions in the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs since 1994, most recently, prior to her joining IFAD, as Director General for Development Policy. She has also been Executive Director at the World Bank, where she represented Nordic and Baltic countries. She holds a Master of Political Science from Åbo Akademi in Finland.
