Simon Bager

Simon Bager is a sustainability and carbon removal expert working at the intersection of climate policy, corporate action, and digital innovation. He is the Co-founder and Chief Impact Officer at Klimate, a carbon removal asset manager helping companies access, manage, and report on high-quality CDR to meet their net-zero goals.
Simon holds a PhD in sustainability science and has over 15 years of experience in climate change, land use, and corporate decarbonization. Prior to founding Klimate, he worked as a sustainability consultant at COWI and as a researcher at UCLouvain and the University of Copenhagen. He is an active voice in the development of the CDR market, serves as an advisor on climate strategies to corporates and universities, and is a founder and board member of the Nordic Carbon Removal Association.
